Accounting Controller

The controller position is accountable for the accounting operations of the company, to include the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, enhance the accuracy of the company’s reported financial results, and ensure that reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or international financial reporting standards.

Accounting Controller responsibilities:


  • Maintains and enforces a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
  • Manage outsourced functions


  • Ensure that accounts payable are paid in a timely manner
  • Ensure that accounts receivable are collected promptly
  • Process payroll in a timely manner
  • Ensure that periodic bank reconciliations are completed
  • Ensure that required debt payments are made on a timely basis
  • Maintain the charts of accounts
  • Maintain an orderly accounting filing system
  • Maintain a system of controls over accounting transactions


  • Issue timely and complete financial statements
  • Recommend benchmarks against which to measure the performance of company operations
  • Calculate and issue financial and operating metrics
  • Manage the production of the annual budget and forecasts
  • Calculate variances from the budget and report significant issues to management
  • Provide for a system of management cost reports
  • Provide financial analyses as needed, in particular for capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations


  • Coordinate the provision of information to external auditors for the annual audit
  • Monitor debt levels and compliance with debt covenants
  • Comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings

Accounting Controller skills and experience:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration, or equivalent business experience
  • 5+ years of progressively responsible experience for a major company or division of a large corporation.
  • Manufacturing accounting experience preferred
  • CPA preferred

RF MRI Coil Engineer

This role within DxTx Medical Inc. understands the function and design of RF circuits, electronics, antennas and their application in the design of transmit/receive coils. The candidate will have experienced in the implementation of RF designs to optimize cost, manufacturability, reliability and serviceability of the final product. This engineer would develop new components for next generation products, update designs along with life cycle engineering for current products.

Essential Responsibilities: Duties include (but are not limited to):

  • Design high power and low power RF electrical components and interconnects
  • Engage in all phases of new product development, including concept, architecture, documentation, design, prototype, test, product cost, supplier interfaces, manufacturing introduction and service support.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure product performance, quality and reliability.
  • Use RF and EM (electromagnetic) simulation/ design tools to ensure robust and efficient product design.
  • Own and maintain existing installed base products.
  • Solve complex and ambiguous problems. Perform trouble-shooting (at bench level and system level) encompassing multiple variables to achieve root cause analysis and problem resolution. Recommend design and conduct experiments and diagnostic tests, as required to draw conclusions and solutions.
  • Develop robust designs for new or existing products that can be produced economically and according to established project timelines.
  • Drive design evolution across multi-generation product releases
  • Provide mentoring and coaching to develop technical talent.

Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelors with 5 + years relevant work experience or Masters Degree with 3 years relevant work experience in Engineering: Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering

  • Demonstrated experience in RF design.
  • Experience with RF Circuit and Electro Magnetic (EM) simulation tools
  • Good understanding of Magnetic Resonance Imaging fundamentals, RF Coil design and electro-magnetics.
  • Excellent teamwork, coordination and communication skills.
  • Ability to execute multiple-tasks simultaneously, and make tough decisions based on business objectives and goals.
  • Ability to meet aggressive reliability, performance, cost, serviceability, and delivery targets.
  • Creative problem solver and solution developer when presented with conflicting requirements, business demands and technical risks/issues.
